MINOT, ND -- The Beavers (15-12, 3-1) took their first sweep of the conference season today at home against the University of Sioux Falls Cougars. Floyd, Blizzard, and Olson dominated in the circle and held the Cougars to zero runs throughout the day. Between the two games, the Beavers collected four home runs. Sarah Misner had a standout performance knocking out two home runs, which included one grand slam. Misner collected seven RBI's on the day. The other two home runs were pushed out by the junior duo of Sara Van Wickler and Taylor Smith. The Beavers will next face the University of Mary Marauders in Bismarck on Wednesday at 1pm.

MINOT, ND --Senior Reegan Floyd was dealing on Sunday, tossing a four-hit shutout to lead the Minot State Beavers past the Sioux Falls Cougars 1-0.
Floyd (8-3) went the distance for Minot State (14-12, 2-1), giving up four hits, walking one and striking out eight.
At the plate, the Beavers were led by junior Sara Van Wickler, who went 1-for-3 on the day with a home run and an RBI. Junior Taylor Smith put together a standout day at the dish as well, going 2-for-3. Freshman Sarah Misner also chipped in for Minot State, putting together one hit in three trips to the plate while adding a double.
