SIOUX FALLS, SD --Junior Sara Van Wickler totaled three hits, but the Minot State Beavers fell to the Minnesota State-Moorhead Dragons 4-1 Wednesday.
Senior Reegan Floyd (13-11) started and took the loss in the circle for Minot State (27-25). The right-hander went seven innings, giving up four runs, three earned, on nine hits, allowing one walk and striking out three.
Van Wickler's three-hit day led the Beavers offensively. Junior Paige Kellogg put together a noteworthy effort as well, going 2-for-3 with an RBI.
