MINOT, N.D. – The NSIC released the final list of All-Academic Team honorees for the 2024-25 academic year, recognizing its spring sports student-athlete standouts, and 52 Minot State student-athletes were honored for their efforts both in the classroom and in competition in men's and women's outdoor track and field, men's and women's golf, baseball, and softball.
Leading the way was the Beaver baseball team with 17 student-athletes named to the NSIC All-Academic Team. The Minot State track and field teams had 15 student-athletes honored with 9 men's team student-athletes and 6 women's team student-athletes named to the All-Academic Team, the Minot State softball team had 13 players honored, and the Beaver golf teams had 7 student-athletes named to the NSIC All-Academic Team, 4 from the men's team and 3 from the women's team.
Of those 52 Minot State student-athletes named to the NSIC All-Academic Team, 34 earned special distinction as they were named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence.
Combining with the 68 Minot State student-athletes named to the fall and winter NSIC All-Academic Teams, the Beaver athletic department finished the 2024-25 academic year with 120 student-athletes earning NSIC All-Academic Team honors.
To be named to the NSIC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must be an active member of their respective team, in at least their second season of competition with their respective Beaver team, and maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA. To earn NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence honors, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.60 cumulative GPA.
- Earning NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence honors from the baseball team were: Gage Eastlick, a senior from Rocklin, Calif.; Alex Engel, junior from Centennial, Colo.; Grant Gabbert, a senior from Thornton, Colo.; Shane Kary, a graduate student from Placentia, Calif.; Devin Marton, a senior from Northridge, Calif.; Conner Meldrim, a junior from Las Vegas, Nev.; Brent Riddle, a senior from San Clemente, Calif.; and Seungjun Song, a senior from Winnipeg, Manitoba.
- Earning NSIC All-Academic Team honors from the baseball team were: Colton Bagshaw, a senior from Lake Havasu, Ariz.; Noah Balandran, a senior from Simi Valley, Calif.; Javier Gutierrez, a senior from Chandler, Ariz.; Miles Iverson, a senior from Lake Forest Park, Wash.; Gunnar Kozlowitz, a senior from Littleton, Colo.; Kekoa Munos, a junior from Surrey, N.D.; Ayden Sauerbrei, a junior from Surprise, Ariz.; Jacob Thompson, a sophomore from Victoria, British Columbia; and Oscar Tucci, a senior from Villamagna, Italy.
- Earning NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence honors from the softball team were: Mallory Hoogensen, a junior from Ankeny, Iowa; Reegan Floyd, a senior from Susanville, Calif.; Calley Olson, a junior from Bloomer, Wis.; Abbey Kelley, a senior from Peoria, Ariz.; Paige Kellogg, a senior from Las Vegas, Nev.; Abby Lohse, a senior from Ham Lake, Minn.; Hannah Murray, a senior from Red Deer, Alberta; Sophie Sparrow, a senior from Mercer, N.D.; Sara Van Wickler, a junior from Scottsdale, Ariz.; and Maizy Whitlow, a sophomore from Ridgefield, Wash.
- Earning NSIC All-Academic Team honors from the softball team were: Taylor Eatherton, a sophomore from Laveen, Ariz.; Anna LaCount, a senior from Kaukauna, Wis.; and Taylor Smith, a junior from Elko, Minn.
- Earning NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence honors from the men's golf team were: Chase Gedak, a senior from Estevan, Saskatchewan; Max Karnik, a graduate student from Fargo, N.D.; Gage Olson, a sophomore from Max, N.D.; and Joshua Tu, a senior from Santa Clara, Calif.
- Earning NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence honors from the women's golf team were: Zoe Banack, a junior from Yellowhead County, Alberta; Taylor Cormier, a senior from Corner Brook, Newfoundland; and Abigail Goettle, a junior from Dickinson, N.D.
- Earning NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence honors from the men's outdoor track and field team were: Ramon Duran, a senior from Hollister, Calif.; Camden Jasmin, a senior from Williston, N.D.; Nikita Neyshtadt, a junior from Richmond Hill, Ontario; Yoni Neyshtadt, a senior from Richmond Hill, Ontario; Dallas Reese, a senior from Wolf Point, Mont.; and Kaden Vermillion, a sophomore from Henderson, Nev.
- Earning NSIC All-Academic Team honors from the men's outdoor track and field team were: Grayson Bonilla, a senior from Helena, Mont.; Holter Bridwell, a sophomore from Bismarck, N.D.; and Peyton Tuhy, a junior from Hettinger, N.D.
- Earning NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence honors from the women's outdoor track and field team were: Nicole Reeves, a junior from Anaheim, Calif.; Sidra Sadowksy, a senior from Hettinger, N.D.; and Emery Smith, a senior from North Salt Lake, Utah.
- Earning NSIC All-Academic Team honors from the women's outdoor track and field team were: Camryn Adams, a junior from Northwood, N.D.; Paulette Dominguez, a senior from Aliso Viejo, Calif.; and Summer Krebsbach, a junior from Max, N.D.
