MINOT, N.D. – The Minot State men's wrestling team is gearing up for another competitive campaign on the mats.

The Beavers' new season gets underway in late October with their annual Beaver intersquad duals as 11th-year head coach Evan Forde is pleased to announce his team's 2025-26 schedule.

The intersquad exhibition duals get the Minot State men's team back on the mats on Sunday, October 26, at the MSU Dome, giving the Beavers a quick tune-up before the regular season opens in earnest on the road at the Jamestown Open tournament on November 2.

The Beavers continue their season with another tournament on the road as Minot State competes at the Dakota Wesleyan Open on November 8, then Minot State makes its home debut at the Minot State Dome on Friday, November 21, hosting the 3rd annual Beaver Bash Duals starting at 10 a.m.

After the first dual action of the season, Minot State opens NSIC competition with their annual battle with in-state rival the University of Mary, hosting the Marauders on Friday, December 5, at 7 p.m. in the 9th annual "Battle for the Barrel."

The Beavers wrap up their homestand on Saturday, December 6, at noon at the MSU Dome hosting St. Cloud State, then finish off the 2025 portion of their schedule with a road dual at new NSIC member Jamestown on December 18.

Following Christmas and the New Year's holidays, Minot State returns to the mats with two days of competition in Colorado, wrestling at the Western Colorado Open on January 9, then in the Tracy Borah Duals on January 10, the final two non-conference events of the season for the Beavers.

Returning to NSIC duals, Minot State is on the road on January 16 at Parkside and at Minnesota State, Mankato on January 17 before returning the MSU Dome to host Southwest Minnesota State in a dual on Sunday, January 25, at 1 p.m.
Minot State then hits the road for its final regular-season weekend away from home, wrestling at Northern State on February 6, and at Minnesota State Moorhead on February 7.

The Beavers then return home to the MSU Dome to close the regular season by hosting Augustana on Friday, February 13, at 7 p.m., and Sioux Falls on Saturday, February 14, at 2 p.m.

Minot State then heads to Marshall, Minnesota on Saturday, February 28, for the NCAA Super Region V Tournament hosted by Southwest Minnesota State, looking to earn berths to the NCAA National Tournament held March 13-14 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
