MINOT, N.D. -- Minot State trailed St. Cloud St. 1-0 at halftime, but rallied to tie the game at 2-2 Friday (Sept. 19) at home at Herb Parker Stadium.
The draw moved Minot State's record to 0-3-1 overall and 0-0-1 in NSIC play.
How it Happened
St. Cloud broke the scoreless tie when Mckenna Breunig scored in the 24th minute, assisted by Grace Olson.
The Beavers responded to tie things up on a goal from Morgan Ostrowski -- her first NSIC goal -- in the 53rd minute, assisted by Anna Miotto.
Minot State then broke the 1-1 tie on Miotto's 58th-minute goal, her first of the season.
The Huskies knotted things up at 2-2 with a 67th-minute goal from Linsey Trapino, assisted by Izzy Halunen. Neither team scored again in the match.
