ST. PAUL, MN -- Minot State fell to Concordia St. Paul 1-0 Sunday (Sept. 7) on the road at Sea Foam Stadium.

Minot Stated dropped to 0-2-0 overall after the defeat.

How it Happened

After the Golden Bears took a 1-0 lead into the half-time break, Minot State kept Concordia-St. Paul scoreless the rest of the way. Rebecca Sargent led Minot State with eight saves. The Beavers registered seven shots in the loss, three of them on goal. Minot State faced 17 Concordia-St. Paul shots, nine of them on goal.

After their second game of the weekend, coach Chris Logan said "We stretched ourselves this weekend with two quality opponents and grew very quickly from the first game to the second.
