CHESTERFIELD, Mo. – A 32-second surge and the Beavers came away with a win.
The No. 1 Minot State men's hockey team put a pair of goals in the net just 32 seconds apart in the first period, then made that hold up for a 2-0 win at No. 6 Maryville on Friday night.
The two teams face off again Saturday to wrap up their weekend series. Game time has tentatively been rescheduled for 8:45 a.m., to help avoid a winter storm forecast for the St. Louis area.

Sean Williams, netting what proved to be the game-winner for Minot State (18-1-1-1 overall, 9-1-1-1 MCH) with 3 minutes, 34 seconds left in the first period.
Just 32 seconds later,
Eric Krywy finished off assists from
Christian Kadolph and
Sheldin Howard, making it a 2-0 contest and providing all the game's scoring.
