MINOT, N.D. – The Minot State men's hockey team hits the road this week for a three-game series in Missouri, beginning Thursday with a 4 p.m. matchup against Maryville University in St. Louis.
The Beavers have historically found success against Maryville, posting a 6-1-2 record in the all-time series. Minot State has won each of their last six meetings with the Maryville Saints.
Following Thursday's matchup, the Beavers will travel to Springfield, Missouri, for a two-game series against Drury University. Minot State and Drury will face off at 7 p.m. Friday before concluding the series with a 6 p.m. matchup Saturday.
Minot State has faced Drury just once in program history, with that meeting coming in March 2025. The Beavers earned a 4-0 victory in the lone matchup.
Offensively, Colby Joseph leads the Beavers through the first two games of the season with two goals and two assists. Coltzon Getzlaff has recorded three points with one goal and two assists in his only appearance this season.
Joey Moffatt and Cooper Kasprick have also recorded three points each through Minot State's first two games.
In net, Blake Sittler has posted a .861 save percentage and a 2.50 goals-against average to begin the season.
The Beavers open the three-game road trip Thursday at 4 p.m. against Maryville University in St. Louis.
