SIOUX FALLS, S.D. --Senior Jake Orthner went 1 for 4 with an RBI for the Minot State Beavers in a 6-2 loss to the No. 15 Augustana (SD) Vikings on Sunday.
Junior Colton Bagshaw (1-4) got the ball to start for Minot State (10-15, 5-10) and took the loss. Freshman Thomas Mitchell was a bright spot for the Beavers, coming out of the bullpen and throwing one scoreless inning, allowing no hits.
Offensively, the Beavers were led by Orthner, who went 1-for-4 on the day with an RBI.
