How it Happened
Rebecca Sargent led Minot State with two saves. The Beavers totaled three shots in the loss, including one shot on goal. Minot State faced 11 shots from California State University, including five shots on goal.
Coaches' Comments
"The reason we went on this trip was to go and compete against really good teams. We gained a lot of experience this weekend that will make us better going forward.
"Today we started slow and that came back to bite us in the end. But overall, I am proud of the group of players and excited for the rest of the season," Minot State head coach Adam Daley said.
