Concordia-St. Paul shuts out Minot State 2-0

MINOT, ND -- Minot State fell 2-0 at home to Concordia-St. Paul Sunday (Sept. 20) at Herb Parker Stadium.

The loss dropped Minot State's record to 2-5-0 overall and 1-3-0 in NSIC action.

How it Happened

After the Golden Bears took a 2-0 lead into the half, Minot State kept Concordia-St. Paul off the scoreboard for the remainder of the game. Rebecca Sargent led Minot State with four saves. The Beavers totaled seven shots in the loss, four of them on goal. Minot State faced 15 Concordia-St. Paul shots, six of them on goal.

Coaches Comments

"Tough game against tough competition.  Sundays have been a struggle for us this season, but we're going to find a way to be better. I believe in this group a lot and am excited to go to battle with them each game coming up," head coach Adam Daley said.
