2018: Named Second Team All-NSIC...appeared, and started, 50 games...led the team with a .335 batting average...also led the team with 54 runs scored and four triples...had eight doubles, three homers and drove in 37 runs...had a .470 slugging percentage and a .408 on-base percentage...was 5-for-7 in stolen base attempts...led the Beavers with 21 multiple-hit games...had eight multiple-RBI games...batted .449 (35-78) over a 22-game stretch from March 23-April 28...had four hits and drove in three runs at Pittsburg State (2/18)...homered and drove in three runs at Nebraska-Kearney (3/10)...had three hits and scored a pair of runs versus Winona State (3/17)...was 2-for-4 with three RBIs against Bemidji State (4/19)...was 2-for-5 with three RBIs against Northern State (5/9) in the NSIC Tournament.

2017: Named Second Team All-NSIC...Started 49 games for Minot State...ranked top 20 in NSIC in many categories: third in RBI (59), ninth in batting average (.361), 10th in hits (66), 14th in doubles (12), 15th in triples (2) and slugging percentage (.546) and tied for 16th in home runs (6)...earned NSIC Spring All-Academic honors.

2016: Appeared in 33 games, making 28 starts in first season with Minot State...pitched in seven games, striking out eight batters in 10.1 innings pitched...had the second-best batting average on the team (.358)...recorded third-most RBIs on the team (28)...added 17 runs, two doubles and one triple on 38 hits...finished the season by hitting all of his six home runs in the final 10 games.

High School: Competed in baseball and football at McHenry Community West...named to Northwest Herald All-Area first team in 2014...led 2014 team in batting average (.380), runs (33), RBIs (30) and stolen bases (13)...member of the National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society. 

Personal: Son of Nicki Wessel and David Borst...majoring in nursing.
