Prior to that he spent two seasons in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL) playing 22 games and providing 2 assists with the Powell River Kings in 2021-22, and had 14 goals and 7 assists with the Winnipeg Freeze in 32 games in 2021-22. Played in 4 games without a points for the Winkler Flyers in 2020-21.
