Prior to MSU
A 2-time undefeated state champion and runner-up state champion, Wayman also maintained a 3.6 GPA and earned the Curriculum Award of Outstanding Achievement for Environmental Science at Lee Williams. He also earned the student council 2-year chord, the student council 3-year medal, and the 4-year Cambridge Honors program stole. Competitively, he was first at the 2021 Moon Valley Invitational, first at the 50th Joseph City Invitational, first at the AIA Division 3 Section 1 tournament, and a 4-time Fargo qualifier. He also was a two-year team captain, a team MVP who won the Coaches Award, Most Improved award, and who broke about every school wrestling record at Lee Williams.
