Coach Danny Duarte is entering his third season with the Beavers, having joined Minot State in the fall of 2023. Duarte’s focus is offensive development and outfield defense. 

His coaching background includes two summers in the Coastal Plains League with the Macon Bacon. He began his tenure there in 2023 as an assistant coach working with hitters and catchers and returned the following season to serve as the team’s Head Coach. 

Prior to coaching, Duarte played collegiately as an infielder and catcher. He began his career playing two seasons at Shasta College (CA) before transferring to Benedictine University at Mesa. During his time at Benedictine, the team made a regional appearance in the NAIA Opening Round. In his final season (2021), Duarte batted .361 with a .441 on-base percentage and 41 RBIs. 

A graduate of Enterprise High School in Redding, CA, Coach Duarte earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Benedictine University at Mesa (2023). He also obtained a Master of Science in Sports Management from Minot State (2025).
