Courtney Kivett begins her second season as an assistant coach for the Minot State University softball program.
Kivett was part of a coaching staff that produced a 25-24 overall record and earned a spot in the NSIC Tournament. Following the season, Tori Zimmermann earned First Team All-NSIC honors and First Team All-Central Region honors by both the NFCA and the D2CCA.
She has 14 years of coaching experience in both college and high school, joining husband, head coach Dave Kivett for six of those years. She was a member of the Yucaipa High School coaching staff that won the National Championship in 2015.
Kivett competed as an outfielder at the NCAA Division II level at Cal State Dominguez Hills in Carson, Calif. She is originally from Riverside, Calif.
