Coach Ponder is in his first year as an assistant coach at Minot State University.

Coach Ponder has worked extensively with both youth baseball and softball players, serving as a travel ball coach with the Upland Heat in Upland California and working as a coach and clinician with Collegiate Fastpitch Camps out of Calgary, AB.

As an Assistant Coach with the beavers, Ponder will work primarily with infielders and hitters.

Coach Ponder is familiar with Minot State University, playing baseball for two years. Ponder was a pitcher for the 2018 NSIC conference champion Beavers.

Before playing at Minot State, Ponder attended Citrus College for two years, winning a Collegiate Golden Glove at first base.

Originally from Upland, California, Ponder attended Upland High School. Ponder was a standout at Upland, being named first-team All-League, and a four-time Golden Glove winner.
