Isis Cabral enters her first season as Volunteer Assistant Coach with the Minot State University softball program after playing for the Beavers from 2016 to 2021.
Cabral was a standout in the field and with the bat after hitting .402 with a team-leading five home runs and 24 RBI alongside a slugging percentage of .629 during her senior year to close out her Minot State career. She posted a fielding percentage over .900 during all five of her seasons with the Beavers for a .938 career fielding percentage. Cabral comitted just 20 errors in five years over 196 total games played.
The Oxnard, California native earned 2018 NSIC Second-Team Honors after batting .420 over 49 games including seven triples, a team-leading .523 on-base percentage, and third on the team with six home runs. She drove in 109 career-runs along with 20 home runs, 10 triples, and 45 doubles all included in her 201-career hits for a .372-career batting average and a .603-career slugging percentage.
Cabral earned 2021 NSIC Spring All-Academic Team honors as one of 12 Beaver softball student-athletes to earn the award during the spring semester.
