Coach Izzy Morales joined the Minot State softball staff as assistant coach in the fall of 2024 after spending the past two seasons as a graduate assistant at Longwood University (Va.).
A former Academic All-American player who began her coaching career in 2018, graduate from Nyack College (N.Y.) where she played two seasons as a middle infielder and was named an Easton NFCA All-American Scholar Athlete. Morales also played two seasons of junior college softball at Broward College (Fla.) where she was First Team All-Southern Conference both years.
While at Broward, she began her coaching career as a head coach for teens in the USSSA summer and winter All American Game program.
During her time at Broward and Nyack, she also served as assistant and head coach for the Atlanta Premier 18U and Texas Blaze 16U softball teams from 2019-21, then moved into collegiate coach as a graduate assistant at Longwood University (Va.) where she recently graduated with a her Master’s in Business Administration.
