Coach Odlum joined the Minot State softball staff in the summer of 2023 after a record-setting, 4-year playing career on the diamond for the Beavers.

A two-time All-NSIC performer (2021 & 2022) during her playing career at Minot State, Odlum hit .391 (173-for-442) with 34 doubles, 9 triples, and 5 home runs with 86 RBIs and 46 stolen bases in four seasons with the Beavers, and added 855 putouts and 32 assists for a .990 fielding percentage at first base.

She ranks in the Beavers' Career Top 10 in batting average, slugging percentage, stolen bases, doubles, triples, RBIs, putouts, and fielding percentage, and twice was named to the All-NSIC All-Academic Team.

Finishing her playing career at St. Cloud State in 2023, she hit .305 (51-for-167) with 9 doubles, 2 triples, 1 home run, 19 RBIs, and 14 stolen bases with the Huskies. 

Odlum, who is working on her Masters in Communications Disorders at Minot State, has worked as a personal softball coach for Heilman's performance, and also participated in the Softball Canada Coaching Seminar.Â
