Biography

2018: Played, and started, 47 games...tied for the team lead with seven triples...batted .324 on the season...had one home run and drove in 21 runs...second on the team with nine stolen bases...scored 43 runs...added four doubles...had three hits against Bemidji State (4/17) and at Concordia-St. Paul (4/29)...batted .400 with runners in scoring position...recorded 17 multiple-hit games and six multiple-RBI games.

2017: Started all 47 games for Minot State...ranked 13th in NSIC in batting average (.359), tied for first in triples (5), 10th in on-base percentage (.441) and 13th in stolen bases (15)...hit two home runs and eight doubles...recorded 31 RBI and scored 37 runs.

2016: Appeared in 46 games, making 45 starts in first season with Minot State...ranked 11th in the NSIC in walks (19)...had a batting average of .239...recorded 22 runs, 13 RBIs, eight doubles, one triple and one home run on 32 hits.

High School: Participated in softball at Moorpark High School...earned first team all-league placement...named Moorpark High School Varsity "Bear Down" winner.

Personal: Daughter of Mele Maka and Doug Cowden...plans on majoring in criminal justice.
