Coach Oscar Nellis joined the Minot State men's wrestling staff as a graduate assistant coach in the summer of 2023 after a highly successful career on the mats for the Beavers.

Coach Nellis qualified for the NCAA Division II National Championships at 125 pounds his senior season in 2022-23, and his name fills the Minot State record books as he is No. 1 in technical fall wins (9) in the program's D-II era, in major decision victories (14), and No. 4 in total wins (54).
