Zac Thomussiet enters his second season with Minot State University wrestling after a standout career at the University of Pittsburg.
Thomussiet earned All-America status in 2012-13, finishing with an impressive 29-4 record and a fifth-place finish in the 2013 National Championships at heavyweight. He was a three-time NCAA qualifiers and earned two EWL championships in 2011 and 2013. For his career, he was 97-36 with 23 pins, finishing 11th all-time at Pitt. He graduated from Pitt with a double major, earning degrees in legal studies and communication.
He was a three-time Ohio state medalist, finishing in fourth place in 2007 and 2008. As a prep, he compiled a 144-42 record at Saint Paris Graham. He is originally from St. Paris, Ohio.
