2015-16: Redshirted.

2014-15: Went 11-10 in third year for the Beavers at 165... Tied team high in takedowns (41)... Added 38 team points on the season.  

2013-14: Recorded 15.5 team points for Minot State in his sophomore season... Went 17-21 with 74 takedowns on the year.

2012-13: Earned five team points for the Beavers as a true freshman... Collected two wins, one by technical fall on the season.

High School: Attending Rigas Secondary School... Participated in both wrestling at soccer... Wrestled in the Latvia National Championship in 2012... Placed eighth in the European Cadet Championships in 2010.

Personal: Son of Aiga and Serge Avakovs... Majoring in Energy Economics and Finance.
