Pre-Minot State: Competed in wrestling at Clackama Community College... Was a 2013 academic all-american... Awarded the Sunstone Circuits Scholarship. 

High School: Participated in wrestling at Stayton High School... Placed fourth in state... Named second team all-state... Wrestled for Team Oregon in Russia and South Africa.  

Personal: Son of Shannon and Monty Sheppard... Majoring in business.
