Coach Chase Gedak joined the Minot State golf staff in the fall of 2025 after two successful seasons playing for the Beavers.
A product of Estevan, Saskatchewan, who was the 2019 Saskatchewan boys high school champion at Estevan Comprehensive School and how also played hockey in high school, Gedak began his collegiate career at Arkansas at Monticello before transferring to Minot State.
During his two seasons with the Beavers, he had 4 top-5 finishes which include winning the 2023 Marauder Fall Invitational. He shot a career-low score of 5-under 67 at the Maverick Invitational in the fall of 2023, which ranks 3rd-best in the Beavers NCAA Division II-era. Gedak also finished 8th in the NSIC Championship in the spring of 2024 and averaged 74.4 strokes per round during 41 rounds of golf at Minot State, 2nd best in the Beavers NCAA era.
Coach Gedak also was named to the Minot State President's List 3 times during his time as a student-athlete with Beavers and named to the 2025 Spring NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence.
