Coach Johnson joined the Minot State football staff in the spring of 2023 and will the Beavers cornerbacks coach.
An All-Conference at DB at Jacksonville University where he planed under head coach Ian Shields, most recently played professional football in Italy with the Milano Seamen of the American Football International league as a player/coach during the summer of 2021, and as a member of the Jacksonville Sharks of National Arena League during the summer 2022.
He also has spent the last three years serving as a teacher in the Duval County School District.
A 2020 graduate of Jacksonville University with a degree in Sociology and a minor in Criminal Justice, Johnson will be working on his Masters in Sports Management at Minot State while serving as an assistant coach for the Beaver football program.
