    Defensive Assistant Coach
Coach Wierson joined the Beaver football staff in the fall of 2024 after most recently serving as head football coach at Kingman High School in Arizona.

Along with serving as a defensive assistant, Coach Wietson is head recruiting coordinator for the state of Arizona. 

Prior to serving as head coach at Kingman HS, Coach Wierson was a coordinator at Horizon HS for the 2021 state championship team and the assistant offensive coordinator at Hamilton HS for the 2020 Open 8 finalist team.

A product of Tucson, Arizona, "Cam" played defensive back for 2 seasons at Northwest Missouri State where he was an NCAA Division II National Champion in 2009, and for two years at Pima Community College. He graduated with his degree with his Bachelor's in Corporate Recreation and Fitness from Northwest Missouri State and earned his Master's from Angelo State (Texas) in Curriculum and Instruction.

He began his collegiate coaching career at the University of Texas El Paso (UTEP) as a graduate assistant coach for the offensive line and special teams for the 2010 and 2011 seasons. He served as a graduate assistant coaching safeties and special teams in 2013 and 2014 at Angelo State, then worked as special teams coordinator in 2015 and served as an adjunct professor at Missouri Valley College.
