Jordan Aus enters the 2026-2027 academic year in his 2nd year serving as Associate Director of Athletics for Revenue and Ticketing. In this role, Aus leads the revenue generation operations for the MSU athletic department. Inclusive of advertising, corporate sponsorship, premium seating, and ticket sales. In addition, Aus acts as the primary liaison between the athletic department and the MSU Foundation, working to collaborate on athletic fundraising initiatives.
Aus transitioned into the role of Associate Director of Athletics in the fall of 2025. Previously, he served as the head track and field coach at Minot State. During his time leading the Beaver track and field program, he established the Beavers Youth track camp, serving over 130-plus youth around the Minot area, and focused on academics as both the men’s and women’s track and field team exceeded a 3.0 GPA for the 2024-25 academic year. Along with engaging the community and focusing on work in the classroom, Bailey Wride brought home the NSIC Championship in the indoor women's 1,000 meters, and Summer Krebsbach (women's 200 meters), Bailey Wride (women's 600 and 1,000 meters), and Nasir Dilworth (men's 60-meter hurdles) set all-time indoor school records, and Krebsbach (women's 100 and 200 meters), Evan Harrt (men's discus), and Dilworth (men's 110-meter hurdles) set all-time outdoor school records.
Prior to taking over leadership of the Minot State track and field program, Aus spent 10 years as the head track and field coach at Sheyenne High School in West Fargo, ND. Leading the Mustangs to region championships in 2021 and 2022. He was named the North Dakota state Coach of the Year for his efforts in 2021 and 2022. During his career at Sheyenne High School, Aus served as an assistant football coach, taught Economics and U.S. Government, and assisted with activity director duties.
Aus is a native of Valley City, North Dakota and attended Valley City State University where he was a 4-year letter-winner in football and track and field. He also was a 2-time All-Dakota Athletic Conference performer in the javelin. He received his B.S. in Social Science Education in 2014. In 2018, he earned his M.S. in Educational Leadership from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
Aus resides in Minot with his wife, Whitney, his son, Franklin, and daughter, Lena.
