Coach Trujillo joined the Minot State football staff in the summer of 2026 as the Beavers' cornerbacks coach.
A product of Los Angeles and Lutheran High School, Coach Trujillo started his collegiate playing career at the University of Colorado, playing two seasons for the Buffaloes. He had stops at Wake Forest and North Alabama before finishing his collegiate career at the University of Idaho.
Following college, he played in The Major League of Indoor Football with the San Diego Strike Force in 2025 and played in 5 games for the Quad City Steamwheelers in 2026, with an interception and 8 tackles.
