LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Minot State University's women's and men's basketball team have set their respective schedules for the D2 Vegas Showdown Feb. 25 and 26.

The Beavers men's and women's teams both take on William Jewell College on the first day at Centennial Hills Community Center. MSU plays McKendree University on Feb. 26 in both women's and men's action.

MSU's women's team plays William Jewell at 1 p.m. (PT) Feb. 25 and McKendree at 6 p.m. (PT) Feb. 26. It will mark the end of the Beavers 2011-12 season.

Minot State's men's team plays William Jewell at 3 p.m. (PT) Feb. 25 and McKendree at 8 p.m. (PT) Feb. 26. The men's team will have an additional tournament at Spearfish, S.D., in March as its season finale.

All three of the teams along with a fourth team the University of Sioux Falls are transitioning teams from NAIA to NCAA Division II. MSU and Sioux Falls will join the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference in 2012-13.

While the tournament games are preset, there will be a champion crowned at the end of the two-day event in both men's and women's play. The team with the highest winning percentage will be named the champion with five additional criteria in place in the case of ties.
