MINOT, N.D. – Minot State University volleyball added two more student-athletes to its 2014 recruiting class as
Ashley Gathman and
Hailey Richards have signed an Intent to Enroll to join the Beavers in the fall.
Gathman, from Minot, N.D., is a 5-foot-5 setter who played both volleyball and softball at Minot High School. Gathman eclipsed the 1,000 career set mark this past season. She earned the Majettes Most Valuable Player in volleyball in 2013 and earned high academic honors including honor choir during her prep career.
Richards, a 5-10 outside hitter from Humboldt, Saskatchewan, was a multi-sport standout for Humboldt Collegiate Institute, playing golf, badminton, basketball, track & field and curling during her prep career. She was earned two titles as a part of the Saskatoon Volleyball Club Total Chaos team was named Junior Athlete of the Year for Humboldt Collegiate.
The Beavers have signed a total of five players to go along with one player who joined at the winter break to give MISU six new student-athletes when the Beavers start camp in August.
