BEMIDJI, MINN. – The Minot State University volleyball team fell to Bemidji State in four sets (21-25, 25-21, 24-26, 22-25) on Friday evening.
The MSU Beavers challenged their opponents in all four matches with the point differential just at five after four sets.
Three Minot State players finished with 10 or more kills as
Shelby Spuller,
Janelle Nagy and
Emily Falldorf finished with 14, 13 and 10, respectively. Falldorf recorded a team high attack percentage at .600 while fellow freshman
Hayley Swain landed .400 of her attack attempts. Swain finished with eight kills.
Sophomore
Kelsey Dewulf earned 40 assists, her second most so far this season while
Cindy Pelo dug 15 balls. Nagy also dug double digit balls with 10 digs.
Falldorf blocked six attack attempts, including two solo blocks, while Swain blocked four.
Minot State will play again tomorrow, October 15, at Minnesota Crookston at 4 p.m.
