MANKATO, MINN. – The Minot State University soccer team tied 1-1 with Minnesota State Saturday afternoon in its first non-win in NSIC play this year.
For the just the second time this season the Beavers allowed a goal before scoring one of their own. The Mavericks scored at the 11-minute mark and it took MSU just three minutes and 42 seconds to respond with a goal of its own.
Ninfa Ramirez scored the lone goal of the day for Minot State as
Chloe Melton assisted after missing a game last week.
Minot State remains undefeated in conference play and keeps a three-point lead over Minnesota State in the NSIC standings.
The Beavers will visit Concordia, St. Paul tomorrow, October 23, at 1 p.m.
