MINOT, N.D. – The Minot State volleyball team was swept in three sets (17-25, 16-25, 11-25) vs. No. 1 Concordia-St. Paul on Saturday afternoon in the Minot State Dome.
The Beavers finish the 2017 season with a 5-24 overall record and 1-19 mark in the NSIC while the Golden Bears improve to 26-2 (19-1 NSIC).
Emily Falldorf recorded a team-high nine kills while hitting .467 to lead the MSU offensive attack.
Shelby Spuller notched six kills while Jeanne Brenner and Hayley Swain added five and four kills, respectively.
Kelsey Dewulf dished out 20 assists along with recording two digs and one kill.
Karli Koza led the Beaver defense with eight digs while Shae Pedersen added seven digs. Mekayla Gurley posted five digs and Spuller recorded two digs.
Spuller and Gurley each recorded one service ace in the match.
Concordia-St. Paul finished with a 4-1 lead in blocks and .484 - .111 advantage in hitting percentage.
