BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Minot State women's soccer team fell to Bemidji State 1-0 on Sunday afternoon at Chet Anderson Stadium.
The loss drops MSU to 3-4-1 (2-3) on the season while Bemidji State improves to 7-0-0 (5-0-0 NSIC).
Bemidji State's Raquel Thelen scored in the 47
th minute to break the scoreless tie. BSU finished with a 16-7 advantage in shots over Minot State.
Haley Berryman led the offensive attack with three shots recorded. Sophomore Goalkeeper
Erin Rafferty notched six saves in the loss while falling to 3-4-1 on the season.
Yellow cards were given to Bemidji State's Maggie Hallock in the 35
th minute and Annika Kussow in the 47
th minute.
Minot State returns to the pitch next weekend when they play host to Sioux Falls on Saturday, Sept. 30 at 12 p.m. and Southwest Minnesota State on Sunday, Oct. 1 at 1 p.m. Both matches will be played at Herb Parker Stadium and tickets are available on msubeavers.com.
