MINOT, N.D. – The Minot State women's soccer team plays two matches at home this weekend, as they host the Microtel Inn & Suites Minot State Classic, Sept. 8-10, at Herb Parker Stadium.
The Beavers will host Emporia State on Friday at 7 p.m. and #17 Fort Hays State on Sunday at 2 p.m.

Freshmen
Jordyn Cook and
Sofia Lewis lead the Beaver offense with two goals each.
Haley Berryman,
Meagan Kawahara and
Morgan Myers have scored one goal apiece this season.
Junior
Sydnee Canales leads the Beavers with two assists while Kawahara,
Ashley Hunter and
Daniela Fonseca have recorded one assist this season.
Goalkeeper
Erin Rafferty is 1-1 on the season with a 1.00 goals-against average and a .600 save percentage.
Scouting the Emporia State Hornets
Emporia State enters the weekend with a 2-0-0 record on the season. Sammy Boese leads the Hornets with three points this season from one goal and one assist.
Kennedy Hoffman and Olivia Miller have also scored a goal for the Hornets this season while Mika Matsuda and Leah Mettam have recorded one assist each.
Goalkeeper Bethany Reeves is 2-0-0 on the season with a .50 goals-against average and a .750 save percentage.
Head coach Bryan Sailer is in his seventh season leading the Hornet program and carries a career record of 42-53-18. The Hornets return to action next weekend when they play at Washburn on Friday, Sept. 15.

Scouting the Fort Hays State Tigers
#17 Fort Hays State comes into the weekend carrying a 2-0-0 record this season. Eden Stoddard leads the Tigers with eight points off three goals and two assists this season. Followed by Stoddard's three goals, five other players have scored one goal.
Darby Hirsch leads the team with three assists.
Senior goalkeeper Kristen Thompson is 2-0-0 on the season with a 0.00 goals-against average and a 1.000 save percentage.
Head coach Blake Reynolds is in his first season at Emporia State and holds a career record of 104-42-19 in his ninth overall season. The Tigers return to action on Thursday, Sept. 14 when they face Nebraska-Kearney on the road.

The Tigers and Beavers have split their all-time series, 1-1. Fort Hays State edged the Beavers in overtime, 2-1, in Sioux Falls, S.D. last season.
