MINOT, N.D. -- Senior Haley Berryman scored a first-period goal and junior Erin Rafferty turned aside seven shots as Minot State secured a home match in the upcoming Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Tournament with a 1-0 victory over Minnesota Duluth on Sunday in Herb Parker Stadium. The Beavers will host an opening-round match against an opponent to be determined on Wednesday (Oct. 31).

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Senior Haley Berryman scored at the 28:28 mark of the first period off an assist from Sofia Lewis giving the Beavers a 1-0 lead
• Erin Rafferty made four saves in the second period keeping the Bulldogs off the scoreboard
