MINOT, N.D. -- The Minot State soccer team returns to Herb Parker Stadium to host a pair of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference matches this weekend. The Beavers face league-leading Bemidji State on Friday (Oct. 5) at 7 p.m. and then host Minnesota Crookston on Sunday (Oct. 7) at 1 p.m.
The Beavers are currently 5-3-2 overall on the season after going 1-1 last week. Minot State defeated Concordia-St. Paul 1-0 in overtime and lost to Minnesota State 5-0.

Haley Berryman scored the game-winning goal in overtime lifting the Beavers to a 1-0 win at Concordia-St. Paul last Friday. Berryman headed in a pass from
Audrey Wilson giving the Beavers the victory. It marked Berryman's first game-winning goal of the season.
Helping Hand:Â
Audrey Wilson is currently tied for second on the team with three assists. She assisted on
Haley Berryman's overtime goal at Concordia-St. Paul and also assisted on the Beavers game-winning goal by
Jordyn Cook against Mary. Her other assist on the season came in the Beavers 3-0 victory at Northern State.
Points A Plenty:Â Minot native
Sofia Lewis has racked up the points thus far during the 2018 season. She leads the Beavers in goals, assists, points and game-winning goals. She has six goals, five assists, 17 points and two game-winning goals on the year.
All Over the Place:Â Led by
Sofia Lewis, several Beavers rank among the NSIC leaders. Lewis leads the NSIC with five assists and tops the conference averaging 0.50 assists per match, while she is ranked second in the conference with 17 points and 1.70 points per match and is fourth in the league with six goals and ranks fifth averaging 0.60 goals per match. Haley Berryman is ranked sixth in the NSIC with five goals and is eighth in the league averaging 0.50 goals per match. Junior
Erin Rafferty is ranked sixth in the NSIC with a 0.93 goals against average.
Sydnee Canales and
Audrey Wilson are tied for 12th in the conference with three assists on the season.
About Bemidji State:Â The Beavers are ranked No. 6 in the nation and are 10-0 overall and 7-0 in the NSIC and in first place in the NSIC standings. The Beavers feature Rachael Norton who leads the conference with 11 goals and 25 points.
About Minnesota Crookston:Â The Golden Eagles are currently 1-8-1 overall and 1-5-1 in conference play. Minnesota Crookston topped Upper Iowa 1-0 for its first NSIC win on Sept. 23 at Upper Iowa.
