MINOT, N.D. -- Senior Rachael Norton scored a goal and had two assists leading No. 6 Bemidji State to a 3-0 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference victory over Minot State on Friday at Herb Parker Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Bemidji State held a 7-2 advantage in shots in the first period, but the match was deadlocked at 0-0 at intermission
• Alanna Mattson scored at the 45:26 mark of the second period giving Bemidji State a 1-0 lead
• Rachael Norton scored off an assist from Alanna Mattson at the 51:17 mark upping the Bemidji State lead to 2-0
• Erin Becker capped the scoring with a goal off a feed from Rachael Norton at the 67:45 mark

BEAVER TRACKS

• Haley Berryman led Minot State with three shots, including two shots on goal
• Sydnee Canales had two shots for Minot State
• Ashley Hunter and Meagan Kawahara each had one shot for the Beavers
• Erin Rafferty made four saves in goal

• Minot State dropped to 5-4-2 overall and 3-4-1 in the NSIC
• Bemidji State held a 15-7 lead in shots
