Beisch Scores 18 in Loss to Montana State Billings

BILLINGS, Mont. -- Kyle Beisch scored 18 points leading three players in double figures, but Montana State Billings overcame a halftime deficit by shooting 65.4 percent from the floor in the second half on its way to a 79-65 non-conference victory over Minot State on Saturday in Alterowitz Gymnasium.

  • Minot State jumped out to a 7-0 lead and held a 22-14 advantage with 8:19 to play in the first half
  • Montana State Billings rallied to cut the lead to 29-28 at halftime
  • Kyle Beisch led Minot State with eight first-half points, while Dorian Aluyi had six points and Max Cody scored five points
  • Montana State Billings used a 13-0 run early in the second half to take a 43-32 lead with 14:29 to play
  • Montana State Billings held as much as a 21-point lead in the second half
  • Kyle Beisch led Minot State with 10 points in the second half, while David Akibo had eight points
