BISMARCK, N.D. -- Emily Falldorf recorded seven kills, had a .462 attack percentage and added four blocks as Minot State posted its first Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference win of the season with a 25-21, 25-22, 25-23 victory over Mary on Tuesday in the McDowell Activity Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Minot State never trailed in the first set as the Beavers rolled to a 25-21 win as Shelby Spuller had five kills and recorded a .571 attack percentage
• Minot State increased the lead to 2-0 as Shelby Spuller had four kills and Emily Falldorf added three kills and two blocks
• The Beavers closed out the match with a 25-23 win in the third set as Jeanne Brenner had four kills and two blocks

BEAVER TRACKS

• Shelby Spuller led the Beavers with 11 kills, which marked her eighth double-figure kill match of the season
• Emily Falldorf had seven kills and led the Beavers with a .462 attack percentage and four blocks
• Hayley Swain had kills, a .357 attack percentage and four blocks
• Jeanne Brenner recorded eight kills and four blocks
• Karli Koza led the Beavers with 14 digs
