BEMIDJI, Minn. -- Junior Shelby Spuller had 19 kills and Hayley Swain added 13 kills and a .632 attack percentage as Minot State defeated Bemidji State 25-20, 25-21, 22-25, 25-16 on Saturday in the Physical Education Complex. The victory by the Beavers increased their current winning streak to three straight and completed a weekend sweep of Minnesota Crookston and Bemidji State.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Minot State took the first set 25-20 as Shelby Spuller had five kills and Emily Falldorf added three kills
• Minot State won the second set 25-21 to up its lead to 2-0 as Shelby Spuller had four kills and the Beavers posted a .267 attack percentage
• Bemidji State captured the third set 25-22 despite six kills from Shelby Spuller and five kills from Hayley Swain
• Minot State polished off Bemidji State with a 25-16 win in the fourth set as Shelby Spuller had four kills and the Beavers hit .258

• Shelby Spuller had her ninth consecutive double-figure kill match with 19 kills
• Hayley Swain capped a brilliant weekend with 13 kills and a .632 attack percentage
• Karli Koza finished with 11 digs, which marked her 16th consecutive double-figure dig match
