Minot, N.D. – David Akibo led the Beavers with 30 points, three rebounds, and two blocks as Minot State was defeated by Bemidji State University 82-93 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference contest on Friday, January 24 in the in MSU Dome.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Minot State went into the half down by eight against Bemidji 34-42
• A strong second half by Bemidji State, shooting 61.54 percent from the floor was too much for Minot State to keep up. Final score 82-93

BEAVER TRACKS

• David Akibo scored 30 points and grabbed three rebounds and had two blocks
• Kyle Beisch was your second leading scorer with 14 points and led the team with two steals
• Nibra White had 13 points on the night with two rebounds and one assist
• Max Cody led the team with seven rebounds and added nine points for the Beavers

TEAM NOTES

• Minot State drops to 8-14 overall and 3-10 in the NSIC
• Minot State had a season high 3-point shooting night with a 66.7 percent shooting average going 10-15 on the night
