(MINOT, N.D.) --Â Minot State University football is back at home this weekend. The Beavers welcome Concordia-St. Paul for a 3:00 p.m. matchup on Saturday, Oct. 19.

- Freshman running back Ali Mohamed leads Minot State in rushing yards and is fourth in the conference in total yards and sixth in yards per game with 435 total rushing yards and a per-game average of 72.5.
- Lavante Bushnell is the go-to receiver for the Beavers with 385 yards, which is good for seventh-best in the conference.
- Freshman returner Cory Carignan is a dangerous threat in the return game as he is third in the NSIC in kick return yards with 344. He has also added a score.
- Senior kicker/punter JoseLuis Moreno is 11th in the nation and third in the NSIC in punting yards (1,467). He is 19th in the country in punting average (41.9). Moreno has recorded nine punts inside the 20, and 11 50+ yard punts. He is also 6-8 on field goal attempts.
- Isaiah Bigby has been a leader on the defense with 38 tackles on the season, which places him in the top 20 of the conference. In addition, he is tied with Justin Coleman for the team lead in interceptions with two.
- Tamrick Ross is leading the team in tackles for loss with 4.5 and also has 2.5 sacks.
- The Beaver defense has also picked off six passes this season.
- As a team, Minot State is one of the more disciplined teams in the conference with only 26 penalties on the season (best in the NSIC) and roughly 42.6 penalty yards per game.

- The Golden Bears are currently 4-2 on the season.
- Concordia-St. Paul is coming off a 24-17 victory over MSU Moorhead.Â
- Concordia has not been great offensively this year as they are eighth in the NSIC in scoring offense, 10th in rushing, and last in passing.
- They have been able to get to the quarterback at an impressive level. They have a conference-leading 27 sacks, including 14 last week, which tied the conference record.Â
- The 27 sacks are second in the nation.
- The Golden Bears are disciplined as they are second best in the conference in penalties and best in yardage and penalty yards per game.
- The Beaver offensive line will have to figure out a way to block Chris Garrett. He is leading the conference with nine sacks, which also leads the nation.
