Lewis' Pair of Goals Paces Beaver Soccer in Win over USF

The Beavers and Cougars played to a draw at the half before the action picked up in pace.

USF started the scoring in the 52nd-minute when Olivia Valdez scored her first goal of the season after an assist from Aundria Vargas.

The Beavers answered abruptly with a scoring strike from Melanie van Walstijn (55'). Junior Sofia Lewis then scored her second and third goals of the year in the 67th- and 75th-minute, respectively. All three of the Beavers' goals were unassisted.
