(MINOT, N.D.) -- The Minot State University soccer team will hit the road again for two NSIC contests. The Beavers will visit Bemidji State University on Friday, Oct. 11 at 3 p.m. and Minnesota-Crookston on Sunday, Oct. 13 at 1 p.m.
Minot State was defeated twice last weekend by two highly-ranked teams, Concordia-St. Paul and Minnesota State.
Series History
vs. Bemidji State
- Bemidji State leads the all-time series 7-6.
- Bemidji State broke the series tie last season with a 3-1 win in the NCAA Division II National Tournament (11/9/18).
- Minot State has not beaten Bemidji State since 2016.
- Minot State also won the very first match-up 1-0 (8/27/10).
vs. Minnesota-Crookston
- The Beavers lead the all-time series 6-2-1.
- Minot State won the inaugural game 2-0 (8/29/10) and the most recent match 4-0 (10/7/18).
- The Golden Eagles' last win came in 1-0 fashion (9/20/14).
- There has been one draw in the all-time series (10/26/12).
Beaver Tracks
- Daniela Fonseca leads the Beavers in goals with two scores on the season. Her last goal came against Minnesota State (10/6/19).
- Kelsey Pena and Melanie van Walstijn have been the most generous players with two assists each.
- Junior Sofia Lewis leads the team in shots (24) and shots on goal (12).
- Senior GK Erin Rafferty has made 50 total saves during the 2019 campaign.

Bemidji State
- Bemidji State currently holds an overall record of 6-2-1 and an NSIC mark of 5-0-1.
- The Beavers' offense is led by Sara Wendt who has nine total points, four goals, one assist, 16 total shots, and eight shots on goal to her credit.
- Melanie Peltier has also been a force on Bemidji's offense with two goals and 16 shots of her own.
- Bemidji State has two goalkeepers that have split time in net. Emma Reidi and Alyssa Stumbaugh have each played over 300 minutes in 2019 and have only allowed a total of six goals this season with 39 combined saves.
Minnesota-Crookston
- Minnesota State holds an overall record of 0-7-0 and an 0-6-0 mark in league play.
- The Golden Eagles' offense has struggled with only two goals scored and 29 total shots on the year.
- Maggie Peterson and Kiya Gere are the only two UMC players to score this season.
- Peterson has been the most aggressive player for the Golden Eagles with eight shots and six on goal.
- UMC keeper Athena DiMario Done has allowed 22 goals with 57 saves through seven games this season.
