(MINOT, N.D.) -- The Minot State men's basketball team returns home tonight for the season opener against Dickinson State University

The Beavers will host Dickinson State later this evening at 7:30 p.m. in the MSU Dome.

Series History

• The Beaver lead the overall series with Dickinson State 34-23 going back to 1987.
• Minot State has won the last seven matchups in the series dating back to February 23, 2011.
• Dickinson State's last victory came in 2011 when they defeated the Beavers on 2/9/2011.
• The Blue Hawks won the first matchup on record between the two teams in 1987 75-69.
• The Beavers are averaging 77 points per game in the series.

Beaver Tracks

• The Beavers are currently 2-0 after winning a pair of games against Hariding University and Ouachita Baptist.
• Kyle Beisch and Max Cody have been the primary scorers thus far for the Beavers, averaging 22 points and 18.5 points per game.
• Cody also adds four rebounds, and five assists per game.
• Trevor Rothstein has also been an impact player, recording a double double in the season opener against Harding. He is averaging eight points and 10 rebounds per game.
