Dorian Aluyi scored a career-high 25 points with a 9-of-14 shooting performance, but the Minot State men's basketball team suffered an 80-63 loss vs. Northern State on Saturday evening at the Minot State Dome.
The Beavers conclude the regular season with a 14-17 (9-13) record while Northern State improves to 22-6 (18-4 NSIC).

How It Happened
- Minot State led twice in the game when Aluyi opened the game with a layup and David Akibo hit a jumper to give the Beavers a 4-2 lead in the opening minute.
- Northern State held the Beavers to a 27.6 shooting percentage in the first half to hold a 37-20 lead at halftime.
- Cody hit a pair of free throws in the opening seconds of the second half and that would be as much as the Beavers would cut into the NSU lead in the second half.
- NSU led by at least 20 points for the remainder of the game until Nibra White and Eduardo Gomez Del Casal added layups in the final minute of the game.
