Minot State Athletics Unveils Redesigned Website

MINOT, N.D. – The Minot State Athletics Department in partnership with SIDEARM Sports today released its newly redesigned website featuring a dynamic layout with streamlined navigation features that will change the way the department promotes its sports teams on a daily basis.

Athletic Director Andy Carter on the website redesign. "We are excited for this redesign of our website. It has been a passion project that we have been working on for quite some time and we are very happy with the results from working with the SIDEARM team. Minot State Athletics is re-introducing our 'Beaver Head' logo, and we feature it prominently on our website. The score ticker at the top of the page will help all Beaver fans keep track of all Minot State Athletics competitions and results daily."

Carter continued about the features of the MSU Beavers athletics webpage. "Our new MSU Beavers site is more streamlined, easier to navigate, and takes advantage of space in a more efficient way. As you will see, the new video and social media sections are placed prominently on our site to show Beaver Nation the innovative and creative ways we are bringing information to student-athletes, fans, and alumni. This new website ushers in a new dynamic identity for Minot State Athletics."

"I am grateful for our new Assistant Director of Athletics – Communications and Media Relations, Jeff Bowe. Jeff hit the ground running and tackled this project with expertise and tenacity. His leadership of our communications team brought this new website from concept to completion."

"The MSU Beavers website is the window to our athletics department for current and prospective student-athletes and we upgraded the entire site with that connection in mind. This redesigned MSUBeavers.com is going to help us continue to #BuildTheDam."

Among the many enhancements to the website, the most notable is the site's new responsive design which will help the site render well with all platforms. The refreshed interface also features new looks to team, roster, and stat pages, more layout-friendly images on story pages, while still providing a unique and comprehensive coverage of Minot State athletic programs. Familiar pages, such as rosters, schedules, and bios have been refreshed as well.

At the top of each page, there is a sports score ticker that allows fans, alumni, and members of the MSU community to follow along with scores, stats, and purchase tickets to events in a streamlined fashion. Social media plays a prominent role, also, video features will be distinctly displayed on this redesigned website to help us tell the Minot State Athletics story.

New content and new information will be updated to help mold the student-athletes experience and how we promote our athletics at Minot State University.
